SPONSORSHIP

Available for the foundational and continuing needs of a youth group

Funds are used to encourage youth groups to grow and reach out to their communities, without being a burden to their local church. Examples of ways that sponsorship funds can be used include promotional materials, educational materials, startup costs for fundraising, etc. Sponsorship is provided in two ways: Sponsorship Package or Specific Request.

1- General Package

Inclusions:
• 10 tee shirts of various sizes

• 1 tarpaulin advertising Youth Group

• Snacks for 2 meetings
---
• Social media shares on Youth Network Facebook

2- Promotional Package

Inclusions:
• 3 tarpaulins advertising your meetings / event

• 25 black & white posters advertising meetings / event
---
• Social media shares on Youth Network Facebook
---
• Blog post on Youth Network website

3- Education Package

A youth group may request specific resources and quantity needed. Examples include:
• Christian books (ex: “Follow Me” or “Crazy Love”)

• Bibles
---
• Bible study resources (commentaries, study guides, etc.)

4- Fundraising Startup Package

If a youth group has a fundraising idea, the group can submit a list of what is needed.
Examples:
• Snacks & supplies to start a Sari-Sari Store or a food sale

• Supplies to start a Motor/Car Wash
---
• Tee shirts to sell

5- Event Package

Shofar Youth Network help cover cost for:
• Publicity (flyers, posters, tarpaulins, etc.)

• Supplies & equipment rental for events (projector, sound system, function hall, etc.)
---
• Event-specific tee shirts or merchandise to sell or giveaway
---
• Snacks, beverages, and catering
---
• Prizes for winners of games and raffles

6- Other Requests

If your youth group has a specific need, please be specific about what it is on your application form. The more information you provide will help Shofar Youth Network make an appropriate decision about your request.

Funding Requirements:

• Applications must be completed online or in print and be approved by the Youth Pastor or Lead Pastor.

• Applications must be submitted at least 3 weeks before the funds are needed. Funds will not be given after the money is needed or spent.

• Preferences will be given to youth groups that have secured support from other sources, such as fundraising.

• No more than 5,000 PHP can be allocated to any one youth group within six months.

• Please list what you plan to spend the sponsorship money on (if applicable).

• Youth group must submit Budget Summary Form to Shofar Youth Network and their Youth Pastor/Pastor after funds have been used (if applicable).

• Budget Summary Form and receipts must be submitted within 2-3 weeks after funds have been used.

• Online and print advertising must include the Shofar Youth Network logo as a sponsor as much as possible.

Funding Limitations:

A) Shofar Youth Network CAN supply funds for the following:
    • Publicity (flyers, posters, tarpaulins, etc.)

    • Tee shirts or promotional materials (tumblers, lanyards, ID badges, stickers, etc.)

    • Supplies & equipment rental for meetings (projector, sound system, function room, etc.)

    • Snacks and beverages for meetings

    • Educational materials (Bibles, books, etc.)

    • Startup costs for fundraising

B) Shofar Youth Network CANNOT supply funds for the following:
    • General travel costs

    • Housing, lodging, or rent for youth, pastors, speakers, or performers

    • Endorsement of political candidates

    • Non-youth group specific publications/pamphlets/booklets
